If you want to find out how to get correct US postage rates, all you need to do is go to the US Postal Service website. They have a postal calculator where you can see how much your letter or package will cost. All you need to do is to decide what kind of letter of package you have, the weight, and the zip code to where it’s going to and you will get postage rates.

Get rates on international, domestic, and business postage. When you go to the website, you will need to select your destination and then enter in where the package is coming from and going to. If you don’t have the zip code information, there is a place on the side where you can look the zip code up.

Enter when you want to mail your letter or package. You will then choose between the size of package or letter that you are sending. You will see different postage rates for both packages and letters. Once you choose your chosen rate, you will be given not only the postage rates, but how long it will take for the person to receive the package or letter. At the bottom of the page is a list of postage offices that you can go to.

Pay online or at the post office. When you pay online, you can save up to 40 percent. If you decide to pay online, all you need to do is print postage, which is located on the left. A window will open up for you to login or register. Once you login or register, you will be able to purchase postage online.
