Adenoids
Adenoids, or pharyngeal tonsils, mass of lymph tissue in the nasopharynx (above the soft palate in the back of the throat) that acts as a filter against disease. Adenoidal enlargement is the most common cause of nasal obstruction in the young and follows recurrent infections in that region.
