Shloime Ansky
Ansky, Shloime (Solomon Samuel Rapoport; 1863–1920), Russian Yiddish author and playwright, best known for The Dybbuk (1916), a tragedy of demonic possession. He was active in Russian Jewish socialism, but left Russia after the Revolution and died in Poland.
