Arabian Desert

Arabian Desert, one of the greatest desert regions in the world, comprising almost all of the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula in southwest Asia. The desert covers approximately 900,000 sq mi (2,331,000 sq km) and is surrounded by the Syrian Desert, the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Red Sea.
