Myopia
Myopia, commonly called nearsightedness, inability to clearly see objects at a distance. The image is focused in front of the retina rather than on it, due to an overly strong refractive power of the eye or an eyeball that is too long. Eyeglasses with concave lenses compensate for myopia.
