Narcissus



Narcissus, fragrant yellow, white, or pink perennial flower (genus Narcissus) of the amaryllis family, named after the youth Narcissus of Greek mythology. Its large, brown, poisonous bulbs are planted in the fall and bloom each spring. The yellow daffodil and jonquil are varieties of narcissus.
