American Automobile Association

Automobile Association, American (AAA), US-based travel organization. Consisting of more than 800 travel agencies and 65 clubs, it has a membership of 25 million motorists throughout the United States and Canada. Among its various services are emergency road assistance, insurance, trip planning, and public education on automobile and traffic safety. The AAA was founded in 1902 and has its headquarters in Falls Church, VA.
