Howard Nemerov

Nemerov, Howard (1920– ), U.S. poet, novelist, and critic noted for his satiric power. His Collected Poems (1977) won a National Book Award and a Pulitzer Prize in 1978. Among his novels are The Melodramatists (1949) and The Homecoming Game (1957).
