Nickel silver
Nickel silver, or German silver, silver-colored alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc, first produced in Germany. It is harder than silver, and although it tarnishes easily and has a duller appearance, it can easily be polished. Nickel silver dinnerware is silver-plated, although the silver plating wears off.
