Claes Oldenburg

Oldenburg, Claes (1929– ), Swedish-born U.S. pop artist best known for his soft constructions (sculptures) that satirize America. His hamburgers, ice cream cones, telephones, and bathroom fixtures are usually larger than normal size. His works include Giant Saw, Hard Version and Lipstick.
