Baroness Emmuska Orczy

Orczy, Baroness Emmuska (1865–47), Hungarian author best known for the French Revolution adventure novel The Scarlet Pimpernel (1905). Her 2 sequels to it did not achieve the acclaim of the original. She also wrote numerous short detective stories.
