Ouagadougou
Ouagadougou (pop. 442,200), capital of Burkina Faso, land of the Mossi people in western Africa. The city has many mosques, a museum, and a university. An airport and a railroad provide transportation to the Ivory Coast. Manufactured goods include textiles, building materials, and food processing.
