Arnold Palmer

Palmer, Arnold (1929– ), U.S. golfer. Palmer's playing style and charismatic personality helped make golf a popular spectator sport. Palmer won the U.S. Open (1960), the British Open (1961, 62), and was the first to win the Masters tournament 4 times (1958, 60, 62, 64).
