Vilfredo Pareto

Pareto, Vilfredo (1848–1923), Italian economist and sociologist. He followed Léon Walras in applying mathematics to economic theory. His theories on governing elites, developed in Mind and Society (1916), influenced Benito Mussolini's fascists.
