Passover

Passover, or Pesach, major Jewish festival held for 8 days from the 14th to the 22nd of the month of Nisan (March/April). It celebrates the Israelite's escape (led by Moses) from Egypt. At the seder feasts on the evenings of the first 2 days, special dishes symbolize the hardships of the escape, and the story of the exodus is read from the Haggadah.
