Phi Beta Kappa

Phi Beta Kappa, most prestigious U.S. honor society for college and university students in the liberal arts and sciences. Members are generally elected in their third or fourth year on the basis of academic achievements. The fraternity was founded at William and Mary College, Va., in 1776.
