Pine siskin

Pine siskin, North American bird (Spinus pinus) of the finch family, measuring about 5 in (13 cm) in length. It summers in northern regions and winters as far south as Mexico. Yellow wing and tail markings stand out from the gray to brown colored bird when it is in flight.
