Katherine Anne Porter

Porter, Katherine Anne (1890–1980), U.S. short-story writer and novelist who won the 1966 Pulitzer Prize for her Collected Short Stories (1965). Her collections of short stories include Flowering Judas (1930) and Pale Horse, Pale Rider (1939). Ship of Fools (1962) is her only novel.
