Maurice Brazil Prendergast

Prendergast, Maurice Brazil (1859–1924), U.S. painter influenced by postimpressionism, a member of the ashcan school founded by 8 U.S. painters in 1908. His works include Umbrellas in the Rain (1899) and Central Park (1901).
