Pierre Paul Prud'hon
Prud'hon, Pierre Paul (1758–1823), French painter. His best-known works are the portrait of the Empress Josephine (1805) and Crime Pursued by Vengeance and Justice (1808). His painting, influenced by Correggio, is soft and sensual in character.
