Pufin



Pufin, any of several stubby seabirds of the auk family. Black or black-and-white, they are characterized by their large, laterally compressed bills, which become further enlarged and brightly patterned at the beginning of the breeding season. Puffins live in colonies on sea cliffs, nesting in burrows.
