Quoits

Quoits, game similar to horseshoes in which 2 players alternately attempt to toss a ring (quoit) around a stake (hob or mott). The quoit is metal and has 1 rounded and 1 flat surface and weighs at least 3 lb (1.5kg). The distance between the hobs is 54 ft (16 m). Points are scored by circling or touching the hob. A game is 21 points.
