Michel Louis Leon Rocard

Rocard, Michel Louis Leon (1930– ), French prime minister (1988–91). Rocard is a socialist who served as secretary to the Unified Socialist Party (1967–73). He was elected to 2 terms in the National Assembly (1969–73 and 1978–81) and held several government positions. Member of the European Parliment since 1994.
