James Albert Rosenquist
Rosenquist, James Albert (1933– ), U.S. painter who turned his early billboard-painting career into a style of art. His gigantic images of movie stars, such as Kirk Douglas, and objects of cultural impact, such as F-111, put him in the vanguard of pop art.
