Karl Rudolf Gerd von Rundstedt
Rundstedt, Karl Rudolf Gerd von (1875–1953), German field marshal. In World War II he was the leader of army groups in Poland, France, and Russia; military ruler of France and commander on D-Day (June 6, 1944) on the western front and during the Battle of the Bulge.
