Camille Saint-Saëns
Saint-Saëns, Camille (1835–1921), French composer. He wrote many large-scale symphonies, piano concertos, symphonic poems, operas, including Samson et Dalila (1877), and such short works as La Danse Macabre (1874), and Carnival of the Animals (1886).
