Salvia



Salvia, any of various plants (genus Salvia) of the mint family, that thrive in tropical climates. Some are used as food seasonings, others for ornamental purposes. The 700 species of woody plants vary in size and height and produce flowers of many colors, including brilliant reds, blues, whites, yellows, and violets. Salvia originates in Brazil.
