Saratoga Springs



Saratoga Springs (pop. 23,906), city in eastern New York, in the southeastern foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. A flourishing resort since the 19th century, its tourist attractions include mineral springs, thoroughbred racing, and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, summer home of the New York City Opera, New York City Ballet, and Philadelphia Orchestra. It is also home to Skidmore College.
