Satinwood

Satinwood, East Indian tree (Chloroxylon swietenia) or shrub of the citrus family. Their wood is very hard and is used for inlays on furniture. West Indian satinwood, or yellow wood, so-called for its color, is found in Florida, as is wild lime, a close relative.
