Delmore Schwartz

Schwartz, Delmore (1913–66), U.S. poet admired for his rhapsodic yet philosophic style. His works include In Dreams Begin Responsibilities (1938), Summer Knowledge (1959), and Last and Lost Poems of Delmore Schwartz (1979). He also wrote short stories, a play, and a children's book.
