Shadow matter

Shadow matter, in science, term to describe a theoretical form of matter that neither reflects nor absorbs light and interacts with ordinary matter only through the force of gravity. The existence of shadow matter (a type of dark matter) has not been proved, but physicists theorize that as much as 90% of the mass of the universe may be comprised of this kind of invisible particle.
