Robert Emmet Sherwood

Sherwood, Robert Emmet (1896–1955), U.S. playwright. His plays Idiot's Delight (1936), Abe Lincoln in Illinois (1938), and There Shall Be No Night (1940), and his biography Roosevelt and Hopkins: An Intimate History (1948) won Pulitzer Prizes for drama or biography.
