C(harles) P(ercy) Snow
Snow, C(harles) P(ercy) (1905–80), English physicist, government official, and author, many of whose works deal with the widening gap between art and technology. He is best known for his Strangers and Brothers series: 11 novels (1940–70) about the English professional classes.
