Frederick Soddy



Soddy, Frederick (1877–1956), British chemist awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize in chemistry for his research in radioactive decay and particularly for his formulation (1913) of the theory of isotopes. His many scientific books range from The Interpretation of Radium (1922) to Atomic Transmutation (1953), and his views on technocracy and the social credit movement are found in Money versus Man (1933), among others.
