Soft-coated wheaten terrier

Soft-coated wheaten terrier, sporting dog of Irish origin, used for hunting, herding, and as a guard dog. This terrier has a strong, compact body about 19 in (48 cm) high, weighs about 40 lb (30 kg), and has a shaggy coat of soft, wavy hair.
