Solomon's seal

Solomon's seal, perennial plant that grows in woods and thickets. The rootstock, used for medicinal purposes, makes a good poultice for bruises, inflammations, and wounds; in a wash, it helps heal skin blemishes and counteracts the effects of poison ivy.
