Stink bug

Stink bug, shield-shaped insect belonging to the stink bug family, known for the unpleasant odor it emits when disturbed. It feeds on plants and insects. Some varieties are pests that destroy cabbage and rice crops and cause damage to certain kinds of garden plants.
