Terrier

Terrier, class of dogs. Most of the 24 kinds of terrier were originally bred in England. They were developed specifically to hunt or flush out from the ground rats and burrowing animals. Terrier breeds include the fox terrier, the schnauzer, and the Scottish terrier.
