Tinnitus
Tinnitus, sensation of sounds not derived from the outer environment, such as ringing, roars, or banging in the inner ear. It is a common symptom of most ear disorders. Tinnitus is not a severe or disabling problem, but a medical diagnosis is important in determining whether an underlying cause requires treatment.
