Daniel Joseph Tobin
Tobin, Daniel Joseph (1875–1955), Irish-born U.S. labor leader. As president of the Teamsters Union (1907–52), he built it into one of the most powerful unions in the United States. He was also vice-president of the American Federation of Labor (1933–52).
