Trans-Siberian Railroad
Trans-Siberian Railroad, railroad in Russia, the longest in the world, stretching 5,787 mi (9,313 km) from Moscow to Vladivostock on the Sea of Japan. Its construction (1891–1916) had a dramatic effect on the development of Siberia.
