United Service Organizations

United Service Organizations (USO), independent, nonprofit grouping of organizations founded in 1941 to provide recreational, entertainment, religious, and social facilities for members of the U.S. armed forces. It is recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense and supported by contributions and volunteers.
