Victoria

Victoria (pop. 1,184,000), capital of the colony of Hong Kong. The city is located on the slopes of Victoria Peak on the island of Hong Kong. It is commonly referred to as the Central District or merely as Hong Kong. Victoria is the government, banking, and commercial center of the island and home to the University of Hong Kong.
