Whippet

Whippet, greyhoundlike dog possessing great speed. It can run as fast as 35 mph (56 kmph). Whippets weigh 18–23 lb (8–10 kg) and stand 18–22 in (44–57 cm) high. They have short coats of tan, gray, or white, and are used for racing and for rabbit hunting.
