Simon Wiesenthal

Wiesenthal, Simon (1908– ), Austrian hunter of Nazi war criminals. Having lost a large number of relatives in Nazi concentration camps during World War II, he established the Jewish Documentation Center in Vienna, Austria, through which he located more than 1,000 former Nazis accused of war crimes, including Adolf Eichmann.
