Zebulun

Zebulun, one of the 12 tribes of Israel and one of the 10 lost tribes removed from Palestine by the conquering Assyrians (721 B.C.) and dispersed. Zebulun was part of the Northern Kingdom of Israel and occupied lands northeast of the Plain of Jezreel. The tribe name comes from the sixth son born to Jacob and Leah (Genesis 30:20).
