Stefan Zweig
Zweig, Stefan (1881–1942), Austrian biographer and novelist. He is best known for his psychological studies of such historical figures and writers as Erasmus, Mary, Queen of Scots, and Honoré Balzac. He wrote of European culture in The Tide of Fortune (1928).
