Anaconda



Anaconda, semiaquatic subfamily of the boa family. Eunectes notaeus is found in Paraguay and Eunectes murinus, probably the largest snake in the world—up to 25 ft (8 m) long and 3 ft (1 m) in circumference—throughout Brazil. Anacondas do not have a poisonous bite, but kill prey by constriction.
