Dandie Dinmont terrier



Dandie Dinmont terrier, short-legged dog originating in Scotland and England, weighing 18 to 24 lb (8 to 11 kg) and standing 8 to 11 in (20 to 28 cm) tall at the shoulders. It has large eyes, a curved body, and a silky tuft of hair on top of its head. It was named after a character in Sir Walter Scott's novel, Guy Mannering (1815).
