Rubén Darío
Darío, Rubén (Félix Rubén García Sarmiento; 1867–1916), Nicaraguan poet. He introduced modernismo, which revolutionized Spanish and Spanish- American literature. His best-known works are Profane Hymns (1896) and Songs of Life and Hope (1905).
